Still Angry

I cannot believe what happen to me last night. I was still very angry but a little scared too. It was crazy of me to chase them coz here many thief's carry knives or guns and coz their was two of them they could have easily attack my cousin and me. You have to be careful here in Philippines because many standby's. A standby is usually a young filipino man who have no work but are always standing with friends in groups on street corners. And with all unemployed young men boredom and poverty usually means trouble. You have to be careful because many standby's are thief's waiting for opportunity to rob young girls or old people. Most standby are cowards and pray on women and they usually rob people who are just as poor as them.  It was very crazy of me to chase them coz I am sure if I would have caught one of them then the other would have attacked me but when a filipina has high blood they are scared of nothing. That is what people say that filipina's are small but they have big tiger inside of them:-)

Purse Snatcher

Tonight a purse snatcher tried to get my purse, I was going shopping with my cousin about 6.30pm and near our house the street does not have any lights so it is very dark. While we walking a filipino sneak up behind us and he grab my purse but I have good hold of it but he try again to pull it from me. My cousin started yelling, I started yelling, so he lets go of my purse then he run off, that is when I notice that their was another filipino who was acting as look out. But I was so angry, so I chase both of them about 200 metres and I am sure I would have caught one of them but I have high heels on :-) My cousin and me we where always yelling thief thief in filipino. Many people come out but the two men run into vacant area that leads to squatter camp. I was so angry and a little scared I cannot believe that I chase two men. Crazy!

Other Cultures

Yesterday I was invited to Australia Day celebration with my friend and her husband. We had a sausage sizzle and I watch the Australians play a game they call two up. My friends husband who is American had never seen this type of game before either, apparently it is only played by Australia and it started many years ago by Australian soldiers and New Zealand soldiers too. At the end of the evening everyone where told to be quiet while they played what the Australians called the last post and then they play their national anthem, it was very moving even though I was filipina I could tell it meant a lot to the Australians who where their. I really enjoy the day. I hope everyone like the pic.

Monday morning laziness

Sunday Lunch with friends

Today my sister, cousin and I got up early so we could go to church. At lunch we met some friends for lunch at a little restaurant t. It was very nice. We had pancit and spaghetti and in the tradition of filipinos we shared it between us all. I love spending time with friends and being a filipina we love to eat but tomorrow is back to the gym. waaaaa

The Day After

I cannot believe how scared I was coming back from the island on the bunker boat. I was so scared that it was going to sink. I need to learn how to swim, I am sure then I would not be so scared.
Okay maybe it not as rough as the picture but it was scary:-)

Saturday at the beach

Yeah today Tera, my cousin and I spent the day at the beach. I love the beach even if I cannot swim. I love just splashing in the water to cool off. We had lunch at a little filipino restaurant that sell bbq. About 4pm we where all tired and feeling very wet so we decided to go home. I cannot wait to go back.

Meeting an old Friend

I slept into 10.30am before getting up and going to have breakfast at puzzle cafe with my sister and one of my friends who I have not seen for a while. Do you go remember Julee? Yeah she has a site too called www.justjulee.com
It was great meeting up together and catching up on each others chismiss (gossip) hehehe
Julee is such a beautiful and sweet girl and I miss her so much but we both have been so busy that the last few times I been to Angeles city we have not been able to meet but today we both juggled our schedule so we could catch up.
But our time together was way to short because 1pm Tera and I had to catch our ride for home.

Photo shoot and Barhopping

Today I was up at 7am to get ready for the shoot. We met Allain my make up artist at 8.30am and he done a great job on my make up and hair. By 9.45am we started the day shoot. Everything went well and by 3pm we where finish, so Tera and I went to SM clarke for some more window shopping. At 6pm we met everyone who was involved in the shoot for dinner at a little restuarant called puzzles that serves the cheapest and best breakfast in Angeles city and it night time menu is very good too. After dinner we all decided to go for a barhop for a couple of hours. We went to a number of bars but I enjoyed a Bar called Pony tails and mirrors the most. About 11pm we all called it a night. Tera and I went back to a hotel room where both share the same room and same bed.
I know what your thinking but she is my sister. hehehe
